Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best famous for her role in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has demonstrated her versatility in the role of actress with remarkable performances in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her role as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer in the documentary film All the Way, which gave her the respect she earned as an actress. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground was also highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season. Hind has recently finished filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The movie will be released around the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in March 2017 following a lengthy career as a scientist in India's Army. Vrinda, her mother is a housewife. Aditya Rai, the older brother is a marine merchant engineer.
